Atom Rack — Internal Overview

What’s inside
Section titled “What’s inside”Atom Rack is a 4U rack workstation integrating:
- CPU: AMD Threadripper 9000 series under a 360 mm all-in-one liquid cooler
- Memory: 8 × DDR5 ECC RDIMM slots, up to 2.0 TB
- Graphics: 2 × full-length PCIe GPUs, up to 4-slot wide and 600 W each, usually on riser cards typical of 4U chassis
- Storage: 2 × U.2 Gen 4 + 3 × M.2 Gen 5
- Power supply: 1 × 2000 W Platinum ATX
- Cooling: 10 × Noctua Industrial 120 mm + 2 × Noctua Cromax 80 mm + the CPU AIO
Airflow
Section titled “Airflow”Atom Rack uses front-to-rear airflow, which is the standard for 4U rack equipment. Rack installations should maintain proper hot aisle / cold aisle separation where possible, with unobstructed front intake and rear exhaust, blanking panels in empty rack slots, and ambient temperature within the Macase chassis envelope.
